About Us
The journey to homemade earrings was a long one for me, even though the solution to my problem was right in front of me all along. I have always had sensitive ears and could wear costume/cheap jewelry for only a few hours before my ears were itchy and begging to be free of the cheap metal. Over the years, I have learned that steel -- either stainless or surgical grade -- has been a greatly welcome solution but within that solution, the market for steel post earrings has been abysmal compared to other types of cheaply produced metals.
For years and years, I would wear my stainless steel hoops until it hit me one day: I could buy steel earrings posts and make earrings of my own! Cute earrings that I could wear for hours and hours on end with no irritation (no literally -- I've slept in them before after wearing them all day and still nothing!). I started off buying charms and connecting them to the new posts. That became addicting and after a few trips to the craft store, I decided to try and make some creations of my own from different colors, sizes, and material of beads.
